TOUR NILE CRUISE AND CAIRO

Departure from Italy with direct ITC flight to Luxor. Transfer on board, dinner and overnight.

Full board on board. Transfer to visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings located on the west bank of the Nile, the largest necropolis in Egypt, where one of the most original and spectacular temples was erected: the temple of Queen Hatchepsut. Stop to admire the Colossi of Memnon. Continuation of the visit with the wonderful Karnak Temple, dedicated to the god Amun, the most important and largest religious center of Ancient Egypt. Visit Luxor temple. Return on board and wait for the passage of the Nile lock. Sailing to Edfu. Overnight on board.

Full board on board. In the morning departure to visit the Temple of Edfu or Temple of the falcon god Horus, one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. At the end of the visit, embarkation and start of navigation towards Kom Ombo, where we arrive in the late afternoon. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to two deities: the crocodile-headed God Sobek and the sparrowhawk-headed God Haroeris. At the end of the visit, boarding and continuation of navigation towards Aswan. Egyptian dinner party in Arab costume accompanied by ethnic music. Overnight on board.

Full board on board. Arrival in Aswan, the southernmost city of Egypt, a well-known holiday destination thanks to its mild climate. Free morning, with the possibility of making an optional excursion (not included in the package price) by bus to the Temple of Abu Simbel, one of the wonders of ancient Egypt. On the way back, stop at the Great Dam. In the afternoon visit the temple of Philae, with an elaborate and imposing structure, once believed to be the sacred place of burial of Osiris and the Great Dam. At the end (wind permitting) there will be an excursion on a felucca, a typical Egyptian boat, to experience a unique experience on the sweet waters of this river. In the evening Nubian show on board. Overnight

Breakfast on board. Possibility to visit the Nubian Village, with a stop at the Botanical Garden. Lunch. In the early afternoon transfer to Aswan airport and departure for Cairo. Upon arrival, meet the assistant and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

After breakfast, departure for Memphis, the first capital of Egypt, to visit the necropolis of Sakkara with the step pyramid of Zoser. Lunch in a nearby restaurant and continuation of the visit to visit the Gizah plain, with the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure. Following the Sphinx, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, morning dedicated to visiting the Egyptian museum which houses the richest existing collection of Egyptian antiquities, including the famous treasure of Tutankhamun. Lunch in a local restaurant and continuation towards the Citadel with its imposing Mosques: the Mohammed Ali Mosque, or Alabaster Mosque. Free time for shopping in the grand bazaars of Khan El-Khalili, one of the most fascinating markets in the world. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. In the evening possibility to participate in the (optional) Sound and Light show in Giza.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport in time for the return flight to Italy.
